FELINIA chose Raphaël Griffon, manager of the “Griffon Joailliers” workshop to create a unique collection intended for our feline companions and their owners.
“During a trip to Guyana, I met a gold miner, it was a revelation. Back in France, it’s decided! I want to change careers and become a jeweler. At the time as an electrical technician, I left everything to return to school in Saumur for 3 years. With my diplomas as a jeweler (making jewelry), jeweler (enhancing stones) and gemologist (knowledge of gems) in my pocket, I joined the family workshop.
From then on, I also go into the field, camera in hand, with one idea in mind: to make known the link that unites matter and spirit. From these adventures, several documentaries have emerged: “Journey to the heart of the diamond” in Ivory Coast, “Precieuses Couleurs” on sapphire in Madagascar, the “Treasure of Tsavo” on Tsavorite Garnet in Kenya and more recently “ The Flesh of the Gods” on gold in Guyana. Other distant destinations are also in my sights…
A true lover of stones and passionate about my profession, I am keen to pass on my know-how in each new manufacturing project. I therefore invite you to open the door of our 200m2 workshop nestled in the heart of Nantes where the team of 9 employees will give you a unique moment of creation through an immersive and personalized experience."
